All-Clad's D3 fry pans reach the UK as a two-pan set rather than as singles. Amazon.co.uk lists the 10- and 12-inch pair through its Global Store, shipped by Amazon US; delivered to a UK postcode on 2026-10-18 it showed £273.85, of which £50.39 was estimated import charges, with free delivery, 30-day returns and stock available.
In the US the same set is $249.99 against $309.99 regular, and buying the two pans separately would cost $309.98. The UK has no single-pan listing, so the set is not a bundle to compare with a cheaper alternative; it is the only way to buy these pans here.
Our verdict
Buy the set if both sizes will be used and an Amazon US import with a 30-day return is acceptable. For one pan there is no UK single-pan offer to compare, so the set is the only route.
- A good fit for
- A UK cook who wants both a 10- and a 12-inch uncoated skillet, has an 11-inch burner for the larger pan, and a sink that takes a 20-inch pan.
- We would skip it if
- You want one pan, nonstick eggs, dishwasher cleaning, or a UK warranty handled locally rather than through an import.
Reasons to consider it
- Both sizes for £273.85 delivered, with the £50.39 import charge already in the price.
- Tri-ply stainless with an aluminum core, made in the USA, oven and broiler safe to 600°F and induction compatible.
- Limited lifetime warranty and 30-day returns through Amazon.
- One order covers the pair; no second import fee on a separate pan.
The compromises
- Sold through Amazon's Global Store from Amazon US: US imports may differ from local products.
- Hand washing is a warranty condition; the dishwasher and soaking are excluded.
- The 12-inch pan needs an 11-inch burner and a 20-inch sink run.
- No UK single-pan listing, so a cook who wants only the 10-inch cannot buy it here.
What we have not verified: The UK price was read with a UK delivery postcode and includes an estimated import charge that Amazon says may change. All-Clad publishes no pan-only weight, and the listed 3.99 lb is the set's shipping figure.

D3 Stainless Fry Pan Set · 10 and 12 inch
Both D3 sizes for £273.85 delivered, import charge included, with the same tri-ply build, 600°F rating, lifetime warranty and 30-day return.
Before you buy: An Amazon US import with no local single-pan option; hand wash only, and the 12-inch pan needs a wide burner and a long sink.
Price checked 18 October 2026. Retailer prices can change. What the set contains
The box holds the 10-inch and 12-inch D3 fry pans, model 411012 BL. Both are tri-ply: a stainless cooking surface and a magnetic stainless exterior bonded to an aluminum core. The set measures 22.5 by 15.1 by 11.1 inches as packed and is listed at 3.99 lb, a shipping figure rather than the weight of either pan.
The two pans share the same handle, flared rim and rivets as the singles this site reviewed in the US. The difference is the buying unit: one SKU, one box, one import charge.
What the import adds
The UK price is not a conversion of the US one. Amazon's Global Store quotes £273.85 delivered, and £50.39 of that is an estimated import charge collected at checkout. Amazon says the estimate may change, and the page warns that US imports may differ from local products in fit, labelling and instructions.
What the charge buys is a single landed price: no separate customs bill on delivery, free shipping and a 30-day return window. What it does not buy is a UK warranty process; the limited lifetime warranty is All-Clad's, handled through the maker.
Six hundred degrees, and the care it assumes
The 600°F rating covers the oven and the broiler, and the pans are rated for induction as well as gas and electric. No coating means nothing to flake, so the pan can go from the hob to the grill without a nonstick temperature ceiling.
The rating is not permission to heat an empty pan. All-Clad's care guide says empty pans should not be left on a hot burner, and the warranty excludes damage from dry overheating. Hand washing is also a condition: the warranty lists dishwasher cleaning and soaking in water as failures to follow care instructions.
The routine is short: preheat on low to medium until a drop of water skitters, add oil and food, and leave the food until it releases. Salt goes in after the liquid boils or the food is in the pan. Cool before washing, and use soap and a sponge rather than steel wool.
The set versus one pan
In the US the arithmetic favours the set: $249.99 against $309.98 for the two pans separately, a saving of $59.99. In the UK there is no single-pan listing to compare, so the question is not which buying unit is cheaper but whether both pans will be used.
A cook who only wants the 10-inch is paying for a 12-inch pan as well, and the import charge is levied on the pair. A cook who wants both gets one delivery, one return window and one warranty claim if something goes wrong.
When the set is the wrong buy
Skip it if the plan is eggs and pancakes, where a nonstick surface does the job with less fat and attention. Skip it if every pan goes into the dishwasher, because the warranty excludes it. Skip it if a 12-inch cast iron or carbon steel skillet already lives on the hob.
Skip it too if a UK-handled warranty matters more than the price, or if the 12-inch pan has no 11-inch burner and no 20-inch sink run to live with. For a kitchen that will use both pans and accepts the import, £273.85 delivered is a coherent price for the pair.
