The red rubber toy is a reasonable default for an average chewer, and the Medium costs £6.29 to £8 in the UK. Nearly all of the decision is matching size to the dog and supervising the chewing.
The £24 FURminator Medium Long Hair tool pulls loose undercoat with a guarded stainless edge, provided the coat is dry and mat-free and the dog weighs 9 to 23 kilograms.
A 3 L pumped fountain at £31 from Catit UK, with a filter pad Catit says to swap every 30 days. Twelve pads a year cost about as much as the fountain, so budget for both.
A 6.5 cm natural-rubber fetch ball that floats: £5.69 as a single medium at Zooplus UK, where the only two-ball pack is the small. Get the size right, then buy a spare.
