Roborock Qrevo S5V Review: A $899.99 Mop-Washing Dock Priced Against Roborock's Own Sale

At $899.99 the Qrevo S5V adds a mop-washing dock to Roborock's mid tier, but the same store's discounted Saros 10R and the $799.99 Qrevo CurvX are a tier up.

THE SHORT VERSION

Roborock's Qrevo S5V is a mid-tier robot vacuum with a multifunctional dock: 12,000 Pa of rated suction, LiDAR navigation with structured-light obstacle avoidance, dual spinning mops and a station that empties the dustbin, washes the pads and dries them with warm air. Roborock's US store listed it at $899.99 in Black and White on 2026-10-09, in stock, with no strike-through price.

A self-emptying, mop-washing dock is the point of this class. The question is which $899.99 buys the best one: Roborock sells a discounted Saros 10R at the same price, a Qrevo CurvX $100 below it, and a certified refurbished S5V at $529.99, while the no-map eufy RoboVac 11S MAX answers a much smaller budget. The dock's capacity claims and the parts bill decide the rest.

Our verdict

Buy the Qrevo S5V at $899.99 for a new-unit Roborock dock that washes and dries mops; skip it while Roborock's discounted Saros 10R holds the same price and the Qrevo CurvX sits $100 below.

A good fit for
A mostly hard-floor or low-pile home that wants Roborock's newest-unit warranty, app scheduling and a dock that empties, washes and warm-air-dries the mop pads.
We would skip it if
High-pile or dark carpet, thresholds over 2 cm, or stair edges you cannot fence off; and a buyer whose $899.99 can reach the discounted Saros 10R or the cheaper Qrevo CurvX that day.

Reasons to consider it

  • 12,000 Pa HyperForce suction, LiDAR mapping for up to four floors, structured-light obstacle avoidance and a 10 mm mop lift, all documented on the maker's US page for this model
  • The dock empties into a 2.7 L E12-rated dust bag the page rates for up to 7 weeks, washes the spinning mop pads and dries them with warm air
  • Wear parts and intervals are printed in the US manual, maker parts are listed (main brush $22.99, filter two-pack $32.99, mop cloths four-pack $20.99, side brushes two-pack $15.99, dust bags six-pack $25.59), and a $79 one-year or $109 two-year extended warranty is sold

The compromises

  • At $899.99 with no discount, Roborock's own discounted Saros 10R ($899.99, list $1,599.99) and Qrevo CurvX ($799.99, list $1,499.99) match or undercut the S5V's price with higher-tier docks
  • Roborock publishes no runtime, dustbin volume, water-tank volume, charge time or drying time for the S5V, and the maker's 7-week dust-bag claim conflicts with the 10-week claim on the brand's Amazon listing
  • On 2026-10-09 most maker consumables were out of stock, and the product page's related-parts module links an S7-style main brush whose compatibility list excludes the S5V

What we have not verified: Roborock publishes no runtime, dustbin or tank volumes, so how long one charge lasts and the dock's water capacity both stay unverified, and the maker's anti-tangle count reads Dual in structured data and Triple in page copy. If the Saros 10R or CurvX discount ends, the S5V's strongest objection disappears; if the 7-week bag interval is optimistic, year-one parts cost more.

Roborock Qrevo S5V Robot Vacuum with Multifunctional Dock
Buy the S5V for its mop-washing dock, not for suction parity at $899.99

Qrevo S5V Robot Vacuum with Multifunctional Dock

$899.99 at Roborock US (Black RR-QrevoS5V5-M2 or White RR-QrevoS5V0-M1, in stock on 2026-10-09) buys 12,000 Pa, LiDAR and structured-light navigation, dual spinning mops and a dock that empties into a 2.7 L bag and warm-air-dries the pads. The maker's certified refurbished S5V was $529.99 the same day.

Before you buy: No runtime, dustbin or tank volumes published; the bag interval is 7 weeks on the maker page and 10 weeks on the brand's Amazon listing; most maker consumables were out of stock on 2026-10-09; and the same $899.99 bought the higher-tier Saros 10R that day.

What $899.99 buys on the robot

Roborock rates the Qrevo S5V at 12,000 Pa, a figure the page attributes to the company's own internal testing in Max+ mode with a full battery under IEC 62885-2:2021/5.11. The same page lists PreciSense LiDAR mapping for up to four floors, Reactive Tech structured-light obstacle avoidance, dual spinning mops at up to 200 RPM with a 10 mm lift, and an obstacle-crossing rating of 2 cm. The manual lists the pack as 14.4 V and 5200 mAh, which is 14.4 x 5.2 = 74.9 Wh, and the robot as a 3.80-inch-tall, 13.78 x 13.9-inch disc.

Hair handling is where Roborock's own wording splits. The page body says Triple Anti-Tangle System and describes a DuoDivide main brush with two parallel bristle rollers; the same page's JSON-LD and social description say Dual Anti-tangle system, its Key Features list says All-Rubber Brush, and the brand's Amazon listing says Dual Zero-Tangle and a single rubberized floating brush. The SGS certificate number is printed for the 0% tangling claim. Treat the brush count and construction as unresolved rather than as a spec you can rely on.

The dock's capacity, and the year-one parts bill

The dock empties the robot into a 2.7 L E12-rated bag that the maker page says lasts up to 7 weeks, washes the mop pads and dries them with warm air; it refills the robot's water tank and its base detaches for cleaning. This is an emptying-and-washing dock, but the page claims warm-air drying rather than the hot-water mop washing on Roborock's higher tiers. The brand's Amazon listing for the same model claims a 10-week storage bin and 3,552 sq ft of mopping per tank fill, so the two brand channels disagree on the headline capacity.

The US manual sets the wear rhythm: main brushes cleaned every two weeks and replaced every 6-12 months; side brush cleaned monthly and replaced every 3-6 months; washable filter cleaned every two weeks and replaced every 6-12 months; mop cloths replaced every 1-3 months; dust bags replaced as required. On 2026-10-09 the maker's matching parts were $22.99 for the S5V-compatible main brush, $32.99 for two washable filters, $20.99 for four mop cloths, $15.99 for two side brushes and $25.59 for six dust bags.

One year of those parts runs about $119 to $225: 1-2 main brushes ($22.99-$45.98), one filter two-pack ($32.99), 1-3 mop-cloth packs ($20.99-$62.97), 1-2 side-brush packs ($15.99-$31.98), and one six-bag pack at the Amazon interval or two at the maker's 7-week interval ($25.59-$51.18). Add the $899.99 robot and the first year lands near $1,019 to $1,125 before the $18.99 cleaning solution, whose dilution is not printed on the maker page.

Almost none of that parts list could be ordered direct on 2026-10-09. The dust bags, mop cloths, S5V side brushes, the standard two-pack filter listing and both cleaning solutions showed OutOfStock at Roborock; only the S5V main brush, its $19.99 cover and a points-program filter listing showed available. Staying with maker parts may mean waiting for a restock, and the one-year warranty excludes batteries and every part that must be replaced periodically.

The same money elsewhere in Roborock's store

Roborock's own US store sells the Saros 10R at $899.99 next to a struck $1,599.99 list, with the StarSight 2.0 navigation system and a 10-in-1 dock. The Qrevo CurvX is $799.99 beside a struck $1,499.99 list, rated 22,200 Pa with an AdaptiLift chassis. The Saros 10R also carries a hot-water wash the S5V lacks: its page claims 176°F mop washing. The Qrevo S5V carries no strike-through on its page: its $899.99 is the undiscounted price, while the same money bought the Saros dock and $100 less bought the CurvX.

Below the S5V is the Q10 S5+ with an auto-empty dock at $279.99 in Black against a $549.99 list, rated 10,000 Pa with vibrating mopping rather than mop washing. Cheaper than all of them is Roborock's certified refurbished S5V at $529.99, and the brand's Amazon listing showed a Used - Like New unit at $399.99 and an Amazon Renewed unit at $469.99. On 2026-10-09 a new S5V cost $370 more than the maker's refurbished one.

So the $899.99 has to be justified against the same brand's sale prices, not just against older or cheaper robots. On 2026-10-09 a buyer could pay $899.99 for a new S5V, $529.99 for the maker's refurbished one, the same $899.99 for a discounted Saros 10R, or $799.99 for a CurvX. Against the refurbished unit, the S5V's case is a new machine; against the Saros 10R, which also washes mops and adds hot water at the same price, the S5V wins only once that discount has ended.

When the S5V stops making sense

Skip it if the house has thresholds over 2 cm or stair edges you cannot fence off. The page rates obstacle crossing at 2 cm, and the manual rules out high-pile carpets, says effectiveness can drop on dark carpets, limits use to 4-40 C, and tells you to fence off raised areas rather than trust the sensors. Rooms behind a transition taller than 2 cm stay off its route unless you carry it over.

Skip the S5V when a flagship with a self-cleaning dock already sits in your home. The S5V's rated suction sits below Roborock's current premium ratings and its dock lacks hot-water mop washing, so it is a sideways move rather than an upgrade. And because the comparison turns on a discount, re-check the Saros 10R and Qrevo CurvX pages on the day you buy: a $0 or $100 gap decides which dock you get.

Buy it when the floors are hard or low-pile, the dock can stand flat with the manual's 0.9 m of height, 0.4 m of width and 1.2 m of depth clear, and you want the pads washed and warm-air-dried rather than a hot-water tier. The 2.4 GHz-only Wi-Fi is the other setup condition the page prints.
