At $79.99 this 5-gallon, 4.0-peak-HP stainless Shop-Vac carries wet spills and drywall debris in a 19-inch, 14.3-pound frame — and Shop-Vac's own 8-gallon listed $0.72 more the same day, so size, not budget, is the decision.
At $69.99 on the brand's Amazon store, the X9 APEX fills a 25-inch tire from 30 to 35 PSI in 35 seconds and refills at 27W — the same money as the slower X8 APEX.
A 32-inch steel rail, four hooks and a bag of anchors, sold as the lowest-cost entry to Rubbermaid's garage system. The rail's 1,700 lb rating only means something if it lands on studs, and the kit ships with the manual for a different rail.
IKEA rates each BROR shelf at 287 lb and sells the 33 1/2 x 21 5/8 x 74 3/4 inch unit for $135. Owner reviews split between rock solid and wobbly, and the difference is a mallet, the cross brace, and the anchor screws.
Most garage storage is bought as a system and used as three habits: a wall for tools, a basket for what moves, a cart for what rolls. Three products among our reviews cover those habits before a rail system is worth the money.
