The InnoGear 100 ml is the diffuser that defines the floor of this category: $18.99, no strikethrough price, sold by InnoGear itself and shipped by Amazon, in stock on October 26, 2026. Without Prime, the buy box quoted free delivery only on orders shipped by Amazon over $35, so a lone $18.99 order ships free with a Prime membership you already have or a second item in the cart. A sweep of InnoGear's own store turned up oil kits and ceramic or glass models but not this bare unit, so the Amazon listing is the channel that matters.
The checklist at $18.99 is why this unit anchors the category. A 100 ml polypropylene tank feeds two mist modes: continuous for a claimed 3-4 hours, or 30-second pulses stretching the same water across a claimed 6-8. A seven-color LED runs on its own switch, and waterless auto shut-off covers the dry-tank case. The listing attaches a one-year warranty and lifetime technical support. Every pricier diffuser has to justify itself against that list at that price.
Our verdict
At $18.99 this runs the whole ultrasonic checklist: two mist modes, a seven-color light, waterless auto shut-off and a 12-month warranty. The $111 gap to a ceramic designer unit buys looks and oil branding, not mist.
- A good fit for
- A first diffuser, a nightstand, or a whole-home setup where several working units matter more than one beautiful one.
- We would skip it if
- The unit will sit in a styled room where white plastic reads as clutter, or a published mist-output figure matters to the purchase.
Reasons to consider it
- Two mist modes: 30-second pulses rated 6-8 hours, or continuous rated 3-4 hours, on a 100 ml tank
- Seven-color LED runs independently of the mist; waterless auto shut-off covers the dry-tank case
- $18.99 at its regular price, sold by InnoGear and shipped from Amazon's warehouses, no oil system to buy into
The compromises
- Polypropylene shell with no design ambition; Amazon's spec table for it commits to 100 sq ft, not the bullet's 100-250
- No published mist output; the below-23 dB figure is a listing claim with no table behind it
- Warranty is 12 months from the day the order arrives per InnoGear's site, with refund or replace as the remedy
What we have not verified: No run was timed and no mist was metered; the 6-8 hour, 100-250 sq ft and below-23 dB numbers are InnoGear's listing claims, Amazon's spec table contradicts the coverage figure at 100 sq ft, and the $14.99-$16.99 prices read on the other color versions on October 26 sat under struck list prices with no stated expiry.
The things in this guide
A closer look at the products, who they may suit, and what to check before buying.

InnoGear 100ml Essential Oil Diffuser (Basic White)
The complete basic feature set: 30-second pulse mode, continuous mode, seven-color light, waterless shut-off and a 12-month warranty at $18.99 with Amazon fulfillment.
Before you buy: Plastic shell, a coverage claim the spec table contradicts, and no output rating; the ceramic alternative lists at $129.99.
Price checked October 27, 2026. Retailer prices can change. The channel: one seller, six shells, a $35 shipping line
Everything about this purchase runs through Amazon. The buy box read $18.99 with no list price struck through, Sold by InnoGear, Ships from Amazon, and In Stock, on October 26, 2026. Free delivery applied to orders shipped by Amazon over $35, or to Prime members; a single $18.99 order without Prime falls under that line, so the realistic cost is the ticket price plus either a Prime subscription or a second item in the cart. Returns run through Amazon too, which offers refund or replacement for 30 days at no charge.
InnoGear's own store rounds out the picture: its diffuser listings are kits with oils and ceramic or glass models, and this bare white 100 ml unit is not among them. Amazon also links a palm-sized, USB-powered InnoGear 100 ml as a newer model at a $13.99 list price; it is a different body with a separate listing, while this corded unit remains on sale with InnoGear still the selling party, which keeps warranty claims to a single counterparty.
The color selector on the same listing is worth a look before checkout. White Grey, Yellow, Brown and Bronze shells of the 100 ml unit, with the same 100-250 sq ft and below-23 dB bullets, read $16.99 under a crossed-out $21.99 list price, and Brown Base $14.99 against $18.99, all sold by InnoGear and shipped by Amazon. Basic White is the version that sat at a steady $18.99 with nothing struck through on the October 26 reads, so the cost math below starts from it.
What $18.99 covers
The tank is 100 ml of polypropylene, the body 3.94 inches square and 5.51 inches tall, corded. Two mist settings divide the water: continuous misting the maker rates at 3-4 hours, or an intermittent 30-seconds-on, 30-seconds-off pulse it rates at 6-8. The seven-color LED brightens, cycles or holds steady on its own switch, and when the tank runs dry the unit cuts itself off.
The claims to hold loosely are coverage and noise. The bullet text says 100-250 square feet and below 23 dB; the same listing's spec table answers 100 square feet when asked for floor area. Neither figure is measured here. Treat 100 square feet as the number InnoGear's own table commits to, the 100-250 as marketing range, and the below-23 dB as a figure with no table behind it at all.
The running cost is whatever oil you pour in
There is no cartridge, no pod and no branded tank: the reservoir takes water and drops of any essential oil on the market, so the monthly bill is a choice, not a lock-in. InnoGear sells oil too. Its kits bundle ten 10 ml bottles, 100 percent pure by the kit listing's wording, listed with a 400 ml diffuser at $37.99, but nothing in the hardware asks for them.
Do the volume once: 20 drops a day is about 600 a month, and at the standard 20 drops per milliliter that is 30 ml, so three 10 ml bottles cover a month. At the kit's implied $3.80 per bottle that is $11.40 monthly; against vitruvi's blends at $28.99 to $33.99 per 15 ml bottle at list, the same 30 ml runs $57.98 to $67.98. The oil aisle, not the diffuser, is where this category's real price spread lives.
What the gap to ceramic does not buy
Vitruvi's Stone is the designer counterpoint at $129.99 list, and the checklist overlap is nearly total: same ultrasonic route, same 30-second pulse, same waterless shut-off, same 12-month warranty window. The 100 ml tank here is bigger than the Stone's 70 ml, and the color-cycling light does more than the Stone's single soft glow. On published numbers the Stone counters with a rated mist output and a 500-square-foot room claim; this listing publishes neither an output rate nor a larger room figure.
So the $111 at list buys material and presence: matte ceramic against polypropylene, a teardrop meant for a shelf against a dome meant for a counter, plus vitruvi's oil line and a three-color designer range. What it does not buy is mist on paper, tank size, light features or warranty length. At the $103.99 White the gap narrows to $85, still with the same feature ledger.
Where the basic grade shows
The compromises sit in the shell and the paperwork, not in the mist hardware. The shell is polypropylene with a wordmark, not furniture. The output rate is unpublished, so there is no paper figure to hold a second unit against. The warranty is 12 months from the day the order arrives with refund or replace as the remedy, per InnoGear's own policy page, which scopes itself to goods purchased from InnoGear; on this listing the seller is InnoGear, so the chain holds, but a gray-market unit would sit outside it.
Set-up means plugging in and filling below the max water line. The Amazon bullets print no cleaning interval and no output rate, so upkeep is left to the owner, and the only bill that repeats is oil: at 20 drops a day, three of the kit's 10 ml bottles run $11.40 a month at their implied $3.80 each, against $57.98 for the same 30 ml at vitruvi's list.
