Waiting for a sale only works if the seller has somewhere to put one. Four catalog products were checked for that: not whether they were cheaper this week, but which mechanisms each maker's US store publishes for a lower number to show up at all. Therabody runs a sale on the $219.99 Theragun Mini and an outlet selling the generation before it. soundcore keeps the Space One at $99.99 on every listing and moves the price with codes. Logitech lists the MX Keys S at $119.99 under a struck $129.99, with two stacking promotions and a sold-out refurbished unit. Roku cut the Streambar SE to $99.99 in its own buy box, beside cuts on four other players, all undated.
The point of the exercise is to know what a wait can deliver. A maker with a refurbished shelf can hand you a reduced price on a used unit any week of the year, so the thing to watch is stock. A maker that discounts by code can show the same headline price for months while the actual number changes underneath. A maker with a dated sale and a no-adjustment clause is telling you when the window closes and that buying a day early costs the full difference. And a maker that cuts the price without dating the cut leaves the buyer to check the page again.
The things in this guide
A closer look at the products, who they may suit, and what to check before buying.

Theragun Mini · 3rd Gen, Black
Therabody's sale page shows the $219.99 Theragun Mini at $179.99 with a countdown timer and a published end date, while the Therabody Outlet lists a certified refurbished Mini at $139 against $189.99, identified on its own listing as the 2nd Gen model.
Before you buy: The refurbished Mini was sold out and marked Final Sale at the check, the outlet's refurbished units carry no return right, and the sale terms state no adjustments on previous purchases, so a full-price order placed the day before the sale gets nothing back.

Space One Headphones · A3035, Jet Black
The Space One is $99.99 on both its new and its refurbished listing; the discount sits in a code, a $20 one on the new unit with its own dated window and a $40 one on the refurbished unit with no end date, which takes it to $59.99.
Before you buy: The refurbished unit carries a three-month term on soundcore's US store against twelve months in the UK and EU, the collection page's FAQ quotes a refurbished Space One at $79.99 that does not match the $59.99 the code produces, and packaging can differ from the retail box.

MX Keys S Wireless Keyboard, Graphite
Logitech shows the MX Keys S at $119.99 with $129.99 struck through, offers 20% off two items or 30% off three, and 25% off qualifying keyboards with an MX Master 4; the Certified Refurbished shelf lists the same keyboard at $79.99 with $50 off.
Before you buy: The refurbished MX Keys S was Sold Out Temporarily at the check, the multi-buy offer excludes the MX Master Keys S Combo and cannot combine with sale prices unless stated, and Logitech's Order FAQs describe refurbished units with a 90-day term while the refurbished listing itself promises one year.

Streambar SE · 9104R
Roku's Streambar SE buy box read $99.99 on 2026-10-04 with Save $50 beside a $149.99 struck through, under an offer line that caps orders at three per customer; the deals page carried the same kind of markdown on five players and six televisions, and no closing date is printed on either.
Before you buy: Roku still publishes no refurbished or outlet channel, and its Order FAQs are silent on price adjustments; a Roku bundle bills the hardware and the subscription separately, the subscription renews at the current rate after one free month, and a bundle can only be returned whole.
Price checked October 4, 2026. Retailer prices can change.Four places a maker can publish a lower number, and only one of them has a calendar
Reading the four stores against one another, the discounts sort into four containers. Therabody publishes a dated sale with an end time and an outlet collection of refurbished and older-generation devices. soundcore publishes codes: the headline price on the Space One does not change, and a coupon with its own start and end dates is what moves the checkout total. Logitech publishes a struck list price, a multi-buy promotion with a closing date, and a Certified Refurbished collection. Roku publishes a struck list price as well, on the bar's own listing and on a deals page that now runs the whole player line, with no date attached to either.
Only the first container tells you when to act. A dated sale with a no-adjustment clause is a deadline, and Therabody prints one. A code with a rolling window is a habit, and soundcore's data shows codes opening and closing week by week, which makes a wait cheap but the exact day irrelevant. A refurbished shelf is a stock question, since the price on it is stable and the unit is what disappears. And an undated markdown is a page you have to revisit, because the seller has published the cut without publishing a calendar, a queue or a second-hand shelf behind it.
Therabody: a countdown on the 3rd Gen and an outlet that sells the 2nd
The Theragun Mini's page carries the discount in the open: $179.99 against an undiscounted $219.99, a countdown timer, and a sale collection whose terms name a start and an end date. The same terms say the offer is applied automatically at checkout, that there are no adjustments on previous purchases, and that returning any part of a qualifying order forfeits an amount equal to the offer. Read together, that is a maker telling you the discount is $40, that it runs to a stated day, and that buying at $219.99 and asking for the difference once the sale opens will not work.
The outlet is the second container and it is where the older generation goes. The Therabody Outlet promises up to 30% off Certified Refurbished and select early-generation models, and its FAQ says refurbished devices carry a one-year term, are final sale, and may show light signs of prior use. The Theragun Mini Refurbished listing there is labeled 2nd Gen, priced at $139 against $189.99, and was sold out. So a wait on the Mini has two possible outcomes: the current model at a sale price, or the previous model at $139 whenever stock returns, with no return right on the second.
soundcore: the same $99.99 on the new and refurbished listing, and a code underneath each
soundcore's Space One page shows $99.99 and a $20 OFF badge. The coupon data embedded in the page names the code, WSTD3035US, gives it a fixed $20 value, prices the unit at $79.99 with the code, and carries a start and an end date. The refurbished Space One listing shows the same $99.99 headline and a $40 OFF badge; its code, WS24A3035F0, has a start date and no end date, and produces $59.99. Neither listing changes its printed price. A shopper comparing the two pages by headline would see two identical numbers and miss a $40 gap.
The refurbished collection page adds the terms: 35 refurbished items, each with a 30-day refund promise and a three-month term, tested and repackaged with packaging that can differ from retail. The separate refurbished warranty table confirms three months for the US and Canadian store against twelve months for the UK, Germany and the EU, and says quality claims are met with the same refurbished model or a similar one. One inconsistency is worth recording: the collection's FAQ quotes a refurbished Space One at $79.99 as its example, while the card and the code produce $59.99. The code is what checkout applies; the FAQ figure is stale copy.
Logitech: three overlapping promotions and a refurbished keyboard with a Notify me button
The MX Keys S page shows $119.99 with $129.99 struck through and $10.00 off, which is the plainest kind of published discount. Two promotions sit on top of it. The deals page offers 20% off two items or 30% off three, with the MX Master Keys S Combo excluded, and the MX Master 4 campaign offers 25% off qualifying ecosystem products, applied automatically, with the keyboard listed as eligible. The campaign terms say the 25% cannot combine with other promotions except one email offer, and the deals terms say offers cannot be combined with sale prices unless stated, so which of the three a checkout honors is not something the pages resolve.
The Certified Refurbished collection is where the largest single cut sits: Refurbished MX Keys S Keyboard at $79.99 against $129.99, $50 off, and out of stock with a Notify me button, while the Mac version at the same $79.99 was in stock. The refurbished listing promises inspection, cleaning, a one-year term, like-new cosmetics and a brown box with all standard accessories. Logitech's Order FAQs, on the same store, describe refurbished products as carrying a 90-day term and 30 days to send them back. Two pages, two terms, and no statement of which one governs the keyboard; a buyer who waits for the refurbished unit should keep the listing's wording.
Roku: a struck price on the product page, and no calendar attached to it
The Streambar SE page on 2026-10-04 showed $99.99 with Save $50 next to a struck $149.99, under an offer line that caps orders at three per customer. Roku's deals page, read the same day, listed five players with savings ahead of six Select Series televisions, among them the Streaming Stick 4K at $44.99 against $79.99 and the Ultra and this bar each at $99.99 against $149.99. One channel is still absent, the second-hand one: no refurbished, outlet or open-box stock appears on that page or in the order FAQs, and roku.com/refurbished and roku.com/outlet both answer 404.
Nothing on the bar's offer or the deals page gives an end date or a countdown; the offer line carries only a three-unit cap instead, and the order FAQs set out no price-adjustment policy, so a buyer who paid $149.99 before a cut is left with the 30-day money-back return from the ship date, at the buyer's cost for return shipping. The bundle mechanism is unchanged and discounts the subscription, not the hardware: a streaming device plus a discounted subscription bought together, billed as two charges, one month free then renewal at the current rate, returnable only whole.
When to skip the wait
Skip the wait on the Theragun Mini if the outlet is the only price you would accept: the refurbished unit is the 2nd Gen, was sold out, and is final sale, so the bet is on stock returning for a model Therabody itself calls early-generation. Skip it on the Space One if a three-month term on a used unit is too short for you; the new unit's code is worth $20 and reappears often enough that the day of purchase barely matters, which argues for buying when you need it and enter whatever code is live.
Skip the wait on the MX Keys S if you were holding out for the $79.99 refurbished unit, because it had no stock and two conflicting terms, and take the $10 struck price plus whichever of the two promotions checkout accepts. And skip it on the Streambar SE if waiting means scheduling: Roku published the cut on the bar's own page on 2026-10-04 and put no date on it, no queue behind it and no refurbished shelf under it, so a wait there is checking the page by hand until the supply line moves.
